TLC, Salt-N-Pepa & En Vogue at FirstBank Amphitheater

Three legendary female artists from the R&B and Hip-Hop era will descend upon FirstBank Amphitheater. TLC, Salt-N-Pepa and En Vogue will join together for the IT'S LEGENDARY TOUR and will bring a phenomenal night of music to shows held Saturday, August 15th, 2016 at 7:30 PM.

These three legendary female artists will take fans back to the 90's and the sounds that dominated the decade. The group of female superstars will bring crowds of die-hard fans dressed in throwback attire reliving memories and singing along to songs that have long-lasting timeless appeal. 

TLC

Experience the magic of TLC with hits “Waterfalls”, “No Scrubs”, “Creep” and “Unpretty”. TLC is comprised of Tionne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins and Rozonda ‘Chilli’ Thomas. Although a third original member, Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes, is no longer with the group, the duo has maintained the same original sound from the beginning of the group in 1990 in Atlanta.

Along with four Grammy Awards, the trio has won a total of five MTV Video Music Awards and five Soul Train Music Awards. They were the first African-American group to achieve a Diamond album certification for their album CrazySexyCool. With over 65,000,000 records worldwide the best-selling American girl group of all time comes to the amphitheater with high-energy vocals.

Salt-N-Pepa

Salt-N-Pepa bring some of their biggest hits including “Push It”, “Shoop”, “Whatta Man” and “Let’s Talk About Sex”. The New York City based group of rappers first performed in 1985 under the name of Salt-N-Pepa, consisting of Salt (Cheryl James) and Pepa (Sandra Denton) with DJ Spinderella (Deidra Roper) on the turntables.

They have been awarded the prestigious Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2021. The trio were also the first female rappers to achieve a Grammy Award when they won Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group in 1995 for ‘Shoop’. The group is not only the first female rap act to reach the gold and platinum status, but they have sold over 15,000,000 records.

En Vogue

R&B tracks by En Vogue including “Hold On,” “My Lovin’ (You’re Never Gonna Get It),” “don’t Let Go (Love)” and “Free Your Mind.” Hailing from Oakland, California, Terry Ellis, Dawn Robinson, Cindy Herron and Maxine Jones first performed in 1989.

Their Grammy Award for Top R&B Single of 1990 along with multiple American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards and Soul Train Awards are showcased with over 20 million records sold worldwide, their voices will continue to entertain you. 

FirstBank Amphitheater Information

The amphitheater is located at 4525 Graystone Quarry Lane, Franklin, Tn. Parking for this event is included in the ticket price for parking in the Main Field Lot, which is right next to the amphitheater. There are also other private lots available for parking wherever you like.
